Kathy Alexander was a middle school teacher for twenty years and a K-8 district consulting teacher for three years specializing in differentiation in a general education classroom. She earned her Masters in Education in Curriculum, Teaching and Learning from Sonoma State University in 2010. Kathy has presented at the state and local level focusing on the research and implementation of differentiation in student-centered classrooms. In addition, she has a grandson who has been diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder, leading her to join Common Ground Society in 2020 in order to help spread the word of the importance of inclusion and equity in our education system.
