Promoting Equitable Outcomes with Inclusive Practices

This session is designed for all age levels and is targeted at participants with an intermediate knowledge of inclusive practices. Session participants will learn how to promote equitable outcomes for all students by promoting inclusive practices in classrooms, school sites and at the district levels. Topics covered will include both quantitative and qualitative approaches to expand inclusive practices at multiple levels across a variety of settings. Emphasis will be on the use of Culturally Relevant Pedagogy, Universal Design for Learning, and Social Emotional Learning to build a culture of inclusion and belonging for everyone in the school community.
