In this session, attendees will move beyond the feelings of hopelessness and overwhelm many educators experienced this past year. They will learn about the research and best practices of 'Together We Make a Difference,' an inclusive service-learning program, and how the curriculum aligns with H.O.P.E., 'Healthy Outcomes from Positive Experiences' to help students at-risk develop agency and self-advocacy.
By using these resources, along with Circle of Friends' School Inclusion Program model, attendees will explore ways that they can empower students to build caring, inclusive communities at school.
